Dear Friend:

On behalf of California's Democratic Congressional Delegation (CDCD), I would like to welcome you to our website! The delegation consists of the thirty-four Democratic members of the CDCD House of Representatives from California.

My colleagues and I are proud to represent the most beautiful state in our country and are committed to promoting the best interests of the Golden State in our nation's capital.

As chair of the CDCD, I work closely with my California colleagues in D.C. to champion the values that matter to all Californians:  making sure children have access to a quality education, protecting our environment, creating economic opportunities, promoting health care coverage for all, and ensuring that our homeland is safe from the threat of terrorism.  A major mission is to shape the federal budget to reflect California's priorities.

We hope this website is a useful tool in getting to know the thirty-four Democratic members of the CDCD House of Representatives who represent communities across every region of our state in Congress. Please visit again soon.

Sincerely,

Zoe Lofgren
