Working to Secure California's Fair Share of Federal Funding
Due
to our vast population and California being the world’s sixth
largest economy, our state contributes a larger percentage of federal
revenues than residents of any other state in the union. One of the
primary goals of the California Democratic Congressional Delegation
is to shape the federal budget to reflect California's priorities
and bring home federal funding for Californians.
The
Delegation is actively involved in shaping public federal funding
decisions on numerous fronts. The
documents below are some of the federal funding issues that California
Democratic Members have rallied around that are of a regional or
statewide concern.

CDCD Chair Zoe Lofgren presents Governor-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger
with a letter of federal funding priorities for California.
